Hello you beautiful soul who have found your way here,

My name is Sarah Billengren (born 1989), and I´m an artist, archaeologist and singer currently dividing my time between the beautiful valley of lake Vättern in south of Sweden, and the Mediterranean shores in lovely south of France. As long as I can remember, Í´ve loved to quietly study the light, movements, shapes and nuances in the world that surrounds us, and with the aid of a brush and pencil express what´s taking place in the outer, as well as the inner world.

In this room, you´ll primarily find watercolor paintings and pencil drawings, who´s core lies in exploring and understanding our deep connection with nature, as well as the bond we share across time and cultures as human beings. The rich forests of Småland will always lie close to my heart, and in recent years the essence of the mountains have worked their way into my soul, blending together as if we were made of the same dust.

To dwell in stillness above the tree lines, to walk long distances between high peaks and deep valleys, bathe in alpine streams and sleep beneath a light wind shelter or directly under the stars is, for me one of the most natural things we can do, and I very much enjoy to share those experiences.

Hopefully we can inspire and learn from one another through our stories, stepping closer to what´s truly essential in our existence and what our hearts long for.
