Process of Helga

There’s something with watercolor painting which is equally difficult to master, as it is beautiful if achieved - the idea of preserving the light instead of adding it. For this to happen, the amount of water, the brush strokes, the depth and the pigments all needs to be in harmony. If we imagine the inner core of all living things, including us humans as a light, would we then see and treat each other differently? And can we view ourselves in a similar way as the process of creating a watercolor painting? Meaning, being able to reflect which depths and colors strengthen our inner light, and what layers we may need to remove for the light to pass through more easily. For when an inner harmony exists, adding light in the form of white pigment often becomes unnecessary, rather it can be seen as something to enhance the experience. Instead, the colors are given the opportunity to shape, live and shine in and from our light.
